Have you always wanted to make your own Android App but you have no experience whatsoever in app development or even programming? Well, Google has just launched a basic programming course on Udacity that has experts teaching you the basics of programming an Android app.

For those who do not know, Udacity is a website that offers free online courses much like Coursera and the likes. Google has partnered up with this service to introduce an Android Basics nanodegree. In this course, experts from Google itself will be teaching you how to write simple Android apps, even without any prior knowledge of coding.

Currently, the course has a free one week trial, after which there will be a subscription in order to continue the course. You can also pay to receive coaching, career counseling and other help, but that is optional. To further promote the course, Google will be offering a scholarship to the first 50 people that manage to complete the Basics course. If you’ve ever wanted to make Android apps for a living but don’t know how, this program would be your best option.
