Google home is probably the most pick home assistant aside from Amazon Echo, but the main issue with this home assistant devices is that it lacks the feature to differentiate the different users. You would think it could, seeing as a regular household would averagely have 4 people living in it. Well Google has an answer for that in the newest update for the Google home by finally supporting multiple users.

Getting Google Home to detect multiple users can be as simple as using voice recognition to swap Google accounts depending on which user is currently interacting with the device, which can eliminate the need to open up the Google Home app and swapping users manually, which honestly kind of defeats the purpose of having a home assistant. Many people have been requesting Google to implement a feature to make it more of a “home” assistant and not a “personal” assistant as stated in its name Google “Home”. It looks like Google has finally heard the complains and is already working on the solution

The announcement of the update which appeared to be a mistake, can be seen in the Google Home app but it appears that the update has still not been implemented. But we should be expecting an update for the device very soon.
