If you are a beta user of Google’s Gboard you will be happy to know that you have access to handwriting support and many new features that will be coming. Initially, handwriting support is a separate feature which needed its own app, but with the new beta build, users can have access to handwriting and Gboard all in one app.
Another change is the changes done to emojis as they have become much larger. According to Android Police, the keyboard height, as well as other factors, will determine the size of the emojis. Other than that, there are features that will come with later builds like fullscreen handwriting keyboard for those of you that want to draft out a long message, sharing GIFs through the app with the Motion Stills apps which captures short videos and converts them into GIFs.
Finally, is the automatic addition of space after punctuations, which other keyboards like Swift Key seem to already have. If you want to try out these and other features that Gboard offers, you can download the app from the Play Store or download the APK if the build has not been released to your phone.
