Since Samsung is predicted to push out the Galaxy Note 6 way sooner than expected, we have more rumors lined up for you guys, and boy do we love these new ones. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were launched with a return of some features from the S5, notably storage expansion and the lovely IP rating which meant that the new flagship can survive spills since it’s IP68 rated.

It is rumored that the Galaxy Note 6 will also be water resistant, with the exact same rating like the Galaxy S7 series. To be specific, IP68 rated handsets are said to survive “powerful water jets” and protected from long term immersion in water up to a specified pressure and also from total dust ingress. If the Galaxy Note 6 is sporting an IP68, then the rumored Galaxy S7 Active will probably be ruggedized to the brim in terms of protection.

Further rumors suggest that the flagship phablet will be packing an iris scanning biometric technology. That seems like a far fetch but can still be taken into consideration since it’s 2016 already. But that’s as far as rumors go for now. As usual, there are no changes for the Galaxy Note 6’s alleged specs – QHD display of 5.8 inches, 4 or 6GB of RAM and running on Android N with TouchWiz. What do you think?
