While Square Enix is still busy remaking Final Fantasy VII, why not relive the nostalgia of the original game on your Android phones. That’s right folks, Final Fantasy VII is now available for purchase on the Android Play Store.

Before you run off to grab your credit card though, Final Fantasy VII Android does have some requirements that your phone must fulfill before you’re able to run the game. For starters, the game will require 4GB of storage on your device, so if you’re running low on storage space, you’re going to need to grab a microSD card. Secondly, the game requires 2GB of memory to run it, meaning that entry level smartphones from the past three years may be out of luck. Lastly, your device needs to be running on Android 4.3 or above.

If your device fulfills all the requirements though, you can purchase the game for RM 70.99. Much like it’s iOS counterpart, the Android version does come with the ability to disable random encounters. You can also choose to max out your character’s stats at the beginning of the game as well. However, there are reports that the game currently features a bug that could crash the game, which would result in your save data being corrupted. As such, the game’s release notes states that you probably should save frequently and/or use multiple save files.
