Sony Interactive Entertainment has commenced the open beta test for the upcoming Dissidia Final Fantasy NT game which will be held from 12 January until 22 January 2018. In addition to that, an Ultimate Box set will be available for sale on 30 January 2018 and a final trailer for the game has also been released.
Players will be able to play some of the game modes that will be in the full version of the game like Story Mode, Single Player mode which pits you against an AI to improve your skills and an Online Mode that will allow you to play the Ranked Match. Playable characters will be rotated during the open beta test. Below is the test period and playable characters will be different for each test listed:
- Friday, 12th January 2018, 22:00 ~ Tuesday, 16th January 2018, 05:00 (MY Time)
- Tuesday, 16th January 2018, 06:00 ~ Friday, 19th January 2018, 05:00 (MY Time)
- Friday, 19th January 2018, 06:00 ~ Monday, 22nd January 2018, 05:00 (MY Time)
You can already download the beta from the PlayStation Store and participate in the beta test now. All you need is PSN account and Internet connection to play the game and it will not require a PlayStation Plus membership to play the game unless you are playing online multiplayer.
The Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Ultimate Box edition will come with a price tag of RM959 but comes with cool items for collectors like Warrior of Light model figure, Steelbook case for the disc, Season Pass with 6 characters when they release and more.
