BIOSTAR’s mainboard isn’t just about ITX mainboards, while missing quite a while already in Malaysia, the Taiwanese mainboard company announced one of its most powerful yet affordable gaming mainboard. The Hi-Fi Z97Z7 ATX mainboard is based on the Intel Z97 chipset and comes with features such as a PCI-Express 3.0×16 slot, , PCIe M.2 support, and BIOSTAR exclusive Super Hi-Fi Audio technology.
The Hi-Fi Z97Z7 supports socket 1150 Intel processors, featuring 100% full solid capacitors onboard, 4 memory slots for accepting up to 32GB of DDR3-2800 (OC) RAMs, onboard HDMI port supporting 4K2K displays, SATA Express Connector which supports both SATA and PCIe storage solutions giving maximum data transfer speed of up to 10Gb/s.
Being a gaming motherboard, the Hi-Fi Z97Z7 obviously comes with great overclocking capabilities with its 8-phase power design and great audio quality with its gold plated Super Hi-Fi Audio Connectors delivering optimum signal and less oxidation. It also features feature the new Super Durable Ferrite Choke which brings the benefits of higher current capacity, lower energy loss and better power stability to the electric current running on the board. In addition to that is the Super Conductive Heatsink Design which is a massive heatsink which provides super fast heat dissipation, high stability and reliability for extreme performance.
The BIOSTAR Hi-Fi Z97Z7 will retail at a MSRP of USD$119 (around RM384), which is pretty affordable for such a fully featured and powerful gaming mainboard.
