One slider is no longer sufficient for ASUS as the company is reported to be making a dual-slider phone that has 5G support. Found on the Twitter page of Evan Blass, the renders shows a phone that comes with a top slider and bottom slider.
According to renders, the 5G ASUS phone has a dual selfie camera and also a dual rear camera. The top slider houses the dual selfie camera, while the bottom slider holds a Harman Kardon speaker, so the phone will have an all-screen design with no notch or punch hole cutout.Â

In another render by Evan Blass, the 5G ASUS phone looks slightly more squarish and instead of a Harman Kardon speaker, the bottom slider instead holds virtual controls such as a shutter button and zoom option when users open the camera.
Like the Samsung A90’s renders that suggested a dual rotating camera, these renders seem slightly problematic too. If one can only choose to slide up or down, does that mean your speaker has to be covered by the phone when you’re using the front cameras for video chats? Similarly, if you’re using the speakers, does that mean the front cameras cannot be used at all? Will this be another flaw in the design, or is ASUS planning on placing another speaker at the bottom of the phone where it can be used when the Harman Kardon speaker is not used?
There are still many questionable areas regarding these renders, but it’s best to just wait for more information.
