Apple finally released the iPhone XR clear case on its website after several weeks of delay, and those who are looking forward to this case will have to pay RM169 to get it.
According to Apple’s website, the clear case is made from a blend of optically clear polycarbonate and flexible TPU materials, so that the case fits easily and remains light and thin so that the iPhone XR can still be wirelessly charged. The case is also said to be scratch-resistant both in and out because the scratch-resistant coating is applied on the exterior and the interior of the case.
The iPhone XR clear case is to this day the only clear case made by Apple for its iPhones, and since Apple has never done this before, it can be assumed that this is an effort to promote the colourful options that the iPhone XR has.
The clear case is already available for purchase on the official site but it is expected to be in Apple retail stores on 10 December. However, there are many other iPhone XR clear cases that are more affordable compared to this RM169 clear case by Apple so you might want to reconsider if you’re buying this clear case just to showcase your iPhone XR’s beautiful colour but if you’re just a loyal Apple fan and you have the money to do so, then go ahead and get this clear case.
