AEON have just launched their very own e-Wallet app that makes paying more convenient for their customers. The app allow customers to pay and earn points at the same time, which means customers could leave their physical member card at home since they could easily earn points through the e-Wallet app.
In order to use the e-Wallet app, customers are required to sign up as an AEON Member Plus which could be easily be done through any of their AEON customer service centre. Once the customer has signed up for AEON Member Plus, the customer could then proceed to download the app “AEON Wallet MY : Scan To Pay” through Google Play or Apple App Store. Customers would only need to type in their identification number that they have registered through AEON Member Plus and the app would automatically create their profile with all of their information’s inside.
Customers could use the app by scanning a QR code that will be provided at the cashier. The e-Wallet could also be topped up with no extra charge, while the balance and transaction history can be monitored in real-time. Customers are rest assured that AEON have taken the steps to secure the app by including biometric log in feature and multi-factor authentication.
What customers could look forward to while using the e-Wallet app is the fact that the points earned through the app could be converted into e-money. For every 200 AEON points earned, it will be equivalent to RM1 which could be accumulated and used in within three years, other benefits include discounts up to 70% and some special priced item. The app can be used at all participating AEON stores, including AEON Big Hypermarkets, AEON MaxValu Prime and AEON Wellness.
