It looks like EA isn’t waiting until E3 to reveal its latest Battlefield game as the Battlefield website has announced that they will be holding an event on the 6th of May to announce what is presumably going to be “Battlefield 5”.
Scheduled to be held this Saturday at 4am local time, DICE’s creative director Lars Gustavsson and lead producer Aleksander Grondal will be present at the event. Both men will be discussing both the future of Battlefield, as well as the past and present of the franchise during the event. They will also be answering questions from fans during the event.
As for the new Battlefield game, there were rumours that the next game was going to be set in either World War I or World War II. However, said rumours have been debunked recently, meaning that nobody knows what the setting is for the next Battlefield. Personally speaking, I’m hoping for a sequel to Battlefield 2142.
