Razer has launched its latest Basilisk gaming mouse range in Malaysia, led by the Basilisk V4 Pro at RM699. The more affordable Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed is priced at RM479, while the new Mouse Dock V2 Pro costs RM299. All three products are available now through Razer.com, RazerStores and selected retailers.
More controls and a faster wireless connection
The Basilisk V4 Pro keeps the series’ familiar right-handed shape and thumb rest, but adds a new M1 edge button and a third side button for a total of 14 customisable controls. Razer has also repositioned the multi-function trigger for easier reach, while trimming 12g from the previous model.
Its HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 offers two tactile modes: a conventional 24-step setting and a finer 48-step Precision Tactile mode. Players can also switch to Free-Spin scrolling or let Smart-Reel move between tactile and free-spin modes automatically. Button mappings, secondary Razer Hypershift functions and game-specific profiles are managed through Razer Synapse.
Tracking comes from Razer’s Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, rated for up to 50,000 DPI, 930 IPS and 90G acceleration. The mouse supports a true 8,000Hz polling rate in wired and wireless modes, while its fourth-generation optical switches are rated for 100 million clicks.
Battery life is rated at up to 200 hours over HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 at 1,000Hz, or up to 275 hours over Bluetooth 6.2. The Basilisk V4 Pro can connect across five devices using HyperSpeed, Bluetooth pairing for up to three devices and a wired connection. Razer rounds out the design with seven-zone Chroma RGB lighting across the full underglow.
Mouse Dock V2 Pro adds charging and an 8,000Hz transceiver
The RM299 Mouse Dock V2 Pro provides magnetic wireless charging through the included Wireless Charging Puck V2. Its integrated transceiver unlocks HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 and 8,000Hz polling with compatible mice, while multi-device support lets a supported Razer mouse and keyboard share one wireless connection.
The dock also has eight-zone Chroma RGB underglow, with the lighting doubling as a battery status indicator. Wireless charging works without software, although Razer Synapse 4 is required to configure lighting, pairing and polling rates.
Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed offers the essentials for less
At RM479, the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed targets buyers who want the core Basilisk shape at a lower price. It weighs 94g and uses the Focus X 33K Optical Sensor Gen-3, with 12 customisable controls and up to 140 hours of battery life.
