Following its global unveiling, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S12 Series goes on sale in Malaysia on 7 October 2026. The local lineup comprises the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, with prices starting at RM4,999 before launch rebates. Both come with an S Pen and a complimentary Book Cover Keyboard Slim, while an introductory promotion brings the starting price down to RM4,599 for eligible purchases.
Malaysian buyers can choose between Wi-Fi and 5G versions, with 256GB storage and Gray or Silver colour options. Samsung is also introducing education discounts for eligible students and educators alongside the general launch offers.

Samsung is offering checkout rebates of RM400 on the Tab S12+ and RM500 on the Tab S12 Ultra with eligible bank-card or SPayLater payments. The prices above reflect those rebates and are separate from the education offer.
The advertised instalment price of RM127.75 per month is based on the Tab S12+ Wi-Fi over 36 months after its RM400 rebate, subject to eligibility. Buyers should check the applicable payment terms, participating outlets and stock availability before purchasing.
Beyond the hardware bundle, Samsung lists six months of Google AI Pro, six months of Notability and four months of Adobe Photoshop. These software benefits are time-limited and subject to their respective eligibility, redemption and subscription conditions.
A tablet package for work, study and creative tasks
The included S Pen and Book Cover Keyboard Slim make the local bundle particularly useful if you expect to switch between handwriting and typing. You can annotate lecture slides or sketch with the pen, then use the keyboard for longer assignments, emails and presentations without buying those accessories separately.
The Tab S12 Series offers access to Gemini, Perplexity and Bixby, with the keyboard’s AI key providing a shortcut to the assistants. Samsung also highlights cross-app actions, such as saving information to Samsung Notes, to help users move between research and note-taking.
For those who already work on a Windows laptop, Second Screen allows the tablet to serve as an additional display with a compatible computer. Meanwhile, Photoshop and Notability give users tools for image editing and organising handwritten notes. The bundle’s appeal is the range of tasks it can cover, though whether it replaces a laptop will depend on the software you use.
Students and educators get discounts from 20%
Starting on 7 October, eligible students and educators with a valid edu.my email address can enjoy discounts from 20% on selected Galaxy tablets. Samsung says savings on the Tab S12 Series reach up to RM1,329.80.
To access the education offer, register for a Samsung Account and verify your education email address. The deals are available through Samsung.com, the Samsung Shop app and participating Samsung Experience Stores. You can begin through Samsung Malaysia’s Education Store.
Samsung has not supplied a complete education price list or an end date for that offer, and has not confirmed whether it can be combined with the general launch rebates. Eligible buyers should compare the verified education price against the launch prices above before checking out.
