realme is gearing up to launch its realme 16 Pro Series in Malaysia, bringing the realme 16 Pro+ and realme 16 Pro to local consumers with a strong focus on camera innovation, design, and performance tailored for content creators and everyday users.
Following its global debut earlier this year, the series also marks the return of renowned designer Naoto Fukasawa, reinforcing realmeโs emphasis on premium aesthetics alongside functionality. The headline feature is its 200MP LumaColor Camera, making it the only smartphone in its segment in Malaysia to offer such a high-resolution sensor under RM2,500.

The realme 16 Pro Series is clearly built for photography enthusiasts, featuring a 200MP main camera with OIS, supported by realmeโs TรV Rheinland-certified LumaColor IMAGE technology. This system is designed to deliver more accurate colours, improved dynamic range and natural skin tones across Malaysiaโs diverse lighting conditions.
With 3.5x telephoto capabilities, users can capture more detailed portraits and zoom shots without sacrificing clarity, while AI-powered enhancements help refine images with better lighting, background separation and cinematic bokeh. Beyond imaging, the realme 16 Pro packs solid performance credentials for its class. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, built on a 4nm process, offering improved efficiency and performance for multitasking, gaming and AI processing.
As for the realme 16 Pro+, it is powered by a more capable Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which competes directly with devices like the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, while both phones will come with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, ensuring smooth app switching, faster loading times and enough headroom for heavier tasks like photo editing and content creation.
High Refresh Rate Display and Long Battery Life
The realme 16 Pro feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the realme 16 Pro+ has a slightly larger 6.8-inch AMOLED display with the same refresh rate.
Battery life is another standout, with a massive 7,000mAh battery that easily supports all-day usage and beyond, paired with 80W fast charging for quick top-ups when needed. This combination makes it especially suitable for heavy users who are constantly on their devices throughout the day.

realme 16 Pro series Malaysia preorders now open
The realme 16 Pro Series is now open for pre-order in Malaysia from 26 March to 10 April 2026, with a RM20 deposit required to secure the device.
Customers will receive a bundle of freebies worth up to RM897, including a complimentary smart band, RM100 rebate, one-year extended warranty and one-year screen crack protection.
