vivo has officially unveiled the X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini, with an emphasis on design, imaging, performance, and endurance. These new models follow the success of the X100 series and introduce several key upgrades.
The X200 Pro is available in Carbon Black, Titanium Grey, Moonlight White, and Sapphire Blue, featuring a design that mimics ocean wave patterns under different lighting conditions, thanks to its innovative floating light glass. The X200 Pro Mini, on the other hand, comes in Titanium Green, which reflects nature’s gentle hues, and Light Pink, inspired by cherry blossoms with a metallic finish.
Both models have flatter designs compared to their predecessors. The X200 Pro sports a 6.78-inch Quad Curved display with minimal bezels, while the X200 Pro Mini features a 6.31-inch flat display. The X200 Pro’s screen supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, has a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and is equipped with Dolby Vision for an enhanced viewing experience.
Under the hood, both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, co-developed with Vivo. The SoC is built on a second-generation 3nm process, featuring a Cortex-X925 super core that reaches speeds of up to 3.626GHz, alongside a 12-core GPU for superior gaming performance. Both models run on Vivo’s new OriginOS 5, which introduces AI-driven features like Origin Island and AI Circle to Search.
The X200 Pro packs a 6,000mAh battery, while the X200 Pro Mini houses a 5,700mAh battery, both supported by 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. Vivo credits its third-generation Silico Anode battery technology for the substantial battery capacities.
In terms of photography, both phones come with a triple rear camera system featuring Zeiss T* optics and Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip. The main camera on both models is the Sony LYT-818, a 1/1.28-inch sensor that Vivo claims competes with the larger sensors in its previous models. Video recording is another highlight, with the V3+ chip enabling 4K HDR Cinematic Portrait video at up to 120fps for slow-motion and 4K HDR Dolby Vision up to 60fps. Additionally, the X200 Pro supports 10-bit Log video recording for professional-grade footage.
The real standout camera feature is the 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto lens on the X200 Pro, offering an 85mm (3.7x) zoom with an f/2.67 aperture. The X200 Pro Mini, meanwhile, comes with a 50MP telephoto sensor and a 70mm (3x) zoom.
Both models also feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus and a 32MP selfie camera.
In China, the Vivo X200 Pro is now available for pre-order and will ship starting October 19. It is offered in various storage configurations: 12/256GB, 16/512GB, 16GB/1TB, and a special 16GB/1TB Satellite Edition. Prices start at CNY 5,299 (approximately $748/€685). The X200 Pro Mini is also available for pre-order and will ship on October 25, with prices starting at CNY 4,699 (around $663/€610).
