Alongside the 2023 Acer Swift 14, Acer Malaysia has also introduced the Acer Swift Go 14, it is a more budget friendly laptop that’s thin and lightweight, yet not compromising performance and efficiency as it is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7×30 U-series APU.
Featuring a 14-inch IPS Full HD display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio, the Acer Swift Go 14 weighs slightly heavier than the more premium Swift 14 at just 1.25kg, it is also impressively well-built with an aluminum chassis that measures 14.9mm.
Despite its sleek design, the Swift Go 14 is packed with I/O which includes two USB-C 4.0 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports with one supporting power-off USB charging, one full-sized HDMI 2.1 port and one 3.5mm audio port, it also charges over its USB-C port at up to 65W.
In terms of specs, Acer offers two processor options of AMD Ryzen 5 7530U and AMD Ryzen 7 7730U on the Swift Go 14, it comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and all variants are equipped with 512GB of NVMe Storage, battery life is rated up to 13 hours, which even if you take that figure off by half, it is already above other similar priced laptops.
Like the Acer Swift 14, the Acer Swift Go 14 will be made available later this month starting at RM3,199, two color options of Pure Silver and Prodigy Pink are available but only the latter is available exclusively to the base Ryzen 5 variant.
