After annnouncing the affordable Data 8 postpaid plan a few months back, redONE is set to introduce two new postpaid plans this week that will offer as much as 15GB of data and starting from RM88, it also offers unlimited free calls to redONE users and up to 53 minutes or RM8 of call minutes to other networks. After the data quota has been used up, customers will be limited to a 64kbps basic internet speed with no extra charges, while calls to other networks are being charged at RM0.15/minute after the allocated call minutes have been exhausted. Lastly, customers who signed up for these two postpaid plans are tied to a 6-month contract.
Riding on Celcom’s network, redONE is the only MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) that offers postpaid plans as low as RM8/month, while these new plans are definitely not as attractive as its parent network or other telcos, it is still rather attractive when compared to other MVNO players, from time to time the company does offer unique rewards to its customers, such as free movie tickets and smartphone giveaways, hence the advantage of subscribing to redONE.
