There’s no doubt that smartphone launches for the upcoming months will all be in the form of online events, and this includes the Samsung Unpacked event in August for the Galaxy Note 20 series. That being said, there will be more Samsung products than just the Note 20 series.
Galaxy Note 20 series
The Galaxy Note 20 series will take the spotlight, but it is said that the Galaxy Note 20 will be skipping on the 108MP camera that was introduced in the Galaxy S20 Ultra. This led to reports suggesting that there won’t be a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, but other sources said that there is a chance that there will be an Ultra model and it will be replacing the Galaxy Note 20+.
Samsung Galaxy Watch3
Apart from the smartphones, we’re also expecting a new smartwatch from the Korean tech giant — a successor to the Samsung Galaxy Watch. Surprisingly, it’s not going to be called the Galaxy Watch 2; instead, it’ll be named the Galaxy Watch3, according to the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand.
The Galaxy Watch3 will sport a 41mm display which will also support 5ATM rating and MIL-STD 810G certification. There will be a cellular and non-cellular variant, in which both will support 5W wireless charging.
Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Flip Z 5G, Galaxy Tab S7 series
The successor to the Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy Z Flip – Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G – might also be making their appearances, in addition to the flagship Samsung tablet, the Galaxy Tab S7. This time, Samsung is including another model, the Galaxy Tab S7+ which has never been done with the previous flagship tablets.
As of now, the Unpacked 2020 will be scheduled for August 5, but there might be changes depending on the COVID-19 situation.
