The Huawei Mate 30 series is now available for purchase without a referral code – if you’re wondering what the ‘referral code’ thing is about, it just means that at launch, the Huawei Mate 30 series were only purchasable by those who had a code obtained by someone who’s been a loyal Huawei customer. This silly rule is now lifted.

To recap, the Mate 30 is a 6.62-inch device, while the Mate 30 Pro is a smaller 6.53-inch smartphone. Both devices come packed with a Kirin 990 processor with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

For imaging, the Mate 30 has a triple 40MP camera setup with an 8MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultrawide shooter. The Mate 30 Pro has a much higher resolution 40MP ultrawide lens instead, while the other two lenses remain the same. Both devices also run on Android 10.

The Mate 30 is priced at RM2,799 while the Mate 30 Pro is priced at RM3,899.

Besides smartphones, a list of other Huawei devices are now available to purchase including the Matebook 13 laptop (from RM3,599), Watch GT 2 (from RM799), Huawei x Gentle Monster Smart Eyewear (RM1,599), FreeBuds 3 earphones (RM679) and Wifi Q2 Pro WiFi mesh (RM499).

Each item comes with free gifts such as backpacks, straps, a satellite for the Q2 Pro WiFi Mesh and more. Visit Huawei’s website for more information.
