The Honor 10 has just received a major upgrade that they are now calling it the Honor 10 GT. This new phone comes with step-up specs we have seen in the Honor 10 and a whole lot more extras.

The GT now comes with 8GB of RAM, GPU Turbo update and a new camera for taking better night shots. Other than that, it looks exactly the same as the regular Honor 10. The rest of the specs are still the same as well, it comes with the latest Kirin 970 processor, 5.94-inch FullView HD+ display and a dual rear 16MP+24MP cameras. It still uses EMUI 8.1 on top of Android Oreo straight out of the box. The GPU Turbo update is using the same technology that is powering the Honor Play, this feature improves, game’s frame rate, increases battery efficiency, increase graphics efficiency by 60 percent while reducing SoC energy usage by 30 percent.

Honor is not branding this phone as a gaming phone, so it is not meant to go up against the likes of the Razer Phone and the ROG Phone. However, one might question that with all these updates and upgrades that caters to gaming, could this be considered Honor’s entry into the gaming-focused phone?
