As the local launch date of the Honor 10 draws near, our writer Tarvin has apparently received a WhatsApp message earlier today with a picture showing a signed contract between Huawei Malaysia and Shopee Malaysia, while the first page details aren’t shown fully, the person who snapped the photo showed the second page to reveal the launch price of RM1999. As the agreement was made two days ago, we assume that the price has been made with 0% GST, as Honor has been consistent in keeping its new flagship retail price at RM2,099 in previous launches.
Like the Huawei P20, the Honor 10 is a flagship smartphone that comes with its bells and whistles, equipped with the AI capable Kirin 970 processor and paired to a storage configuration of 6GB RAM and 128GB memory, the phone comes with a 16+24MP main camera and a front 24MP camera. Other than that, you still get a 5.84-inch display with a notch, a 3400mAh battery with support for Huawei’s SuperCharge, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is also featured on the front to unlock the phone properly even when your finger is wet.
For less than RM2000, the Honor 10 is definitely a good buy if you don’t mind the lack of dual LEICA camera sensors, but what do you think about it? Let us know in the comments!
