After six months, the Oppo F5 has finally gotten a price cut of RM199 off it’s original price of RM1298, while the lower end A83 that was announced earlier this year will also be getting a RM100 price cut. The Oppo F5 and A83 can now be purchased at the price of RM1099 and RM799 respectively, making it really enticing for those who are looking to buy a selfie smartphone.
For starters, the Oppo F5 is more than just a selfie smartphone, as we have reviewed in our comparison with the widely popular Huawei Nova 2i, the phone features an impressive 16-megapixel f/1.8 main shooter that takes very impressive photos for it’s price, the front facing 20-megapixel camera also tends to take naturally beautified selfies with it’s AI beautification technology. The Oppo A83 on the other hand is a smaller device with a 5.7″ FHD+ display, and has lower resolution cameras with a 13-megapixel main and 8-megapixel front camera, it still comes with the F5’s AI beautification tech and comes with Facial Unlock.
