Earlier today we witnessed Vivo launch the V7+, which features an extremely tiny bezel-ed display on the front, with a dual camera setup and a decent spec sheet for quite an affordable price tag. Vivo is one of the latest smartphone manufacturers to hop onto the full screen display bandwagon, and fellow Chinese company OPPO will be following suit.
A couple of leaked photos have emerged on Chinese micro blogging site Weibo, of an alleged OPPO R11s, which had some of its details leaked onto the web not too long ago. A leaked hands on image of the device confirms rumors that it will feature a display with minimal bezels, making it look extra attractive than OPPO’s current line of devices as well.
It is likely that the OPPO R11s will be the company’s flagship smartphone for 2017, as the spec sheet is said to be pretty top notch – a Snapdragon 835 processor and 6GB of RAM. The current OPPO R11 sports a dual camera setup, and that will likely be the case for the upcoming OPPO R11s as well.
As always, do bear in mind to take these rumors with a huge grain of salt to avoid disappointment. Regardless, it is definitely admirable to see OPPO stepping up its game to retain its place in the smartphone competition. Thoughts?
