ASUS unveils the feature packed VivoBook Pro 15 and VivoBook S15

ASUS has unveiled two affordable notebooks at its Computex press conference today, the new VivoBook Pro and S15 aren’t just premium looking machines but they also come with some decent features that will easily entice one to look at it, they are also pretty well built with an aluminum body with no compromises in performance.

The VivoBook Pro, as the name already suggests, is packed with high performance internals such as a Core i7-7700HQ processor with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, its 15.6-inch display supports up to 4K resolution and covers 100% sRGB color gamut, a GeForce GTX 1050 GPU is also onboard to enable some decent gaming experience, the display also supports the ASUS Pen active stylus. Due to its powerful hardware, ASUS has also implemented dual fans for efficient cooling. The VivoBook Pro emphasizes on audio quality, as it features Harman/Kardon tuned twin speakers with a large 8cc audio chamber and smart amplifier technology, there’s also Windows Hello support with the fingerprint sensor on the Windows Precision trackpad.

As for the VivoBook S15, this is one compact 15-inch notebook that features the NanoEdge display with a Full HD resolution, it will come equipped with either a 7th Gen Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 U series processor, with support for up to 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD + 2TB HDD, and a GeForce 940MX GPU. If you require better security, the VivoBook S15 does also come with an optional fingerprint sensor that supports Windows Hello.

ASUS will begin selling the new VivoBooks later this year, the VivoBook Pro will retail from US$799 (RM3,410) and the VivoBook S15 will retail from US$499 (RM2,129).
