YouTube Music finally has lyrics support on both its iOS and Android app

While we’re all stuck at home with nothing much to do during the Movement Control Order, YouTube Music finally added lyrics to its iOS and Android apps.

I’d say YouTube got its timing right this time; since many of us are (hopefully) being obedient and staying at home, having a little solo karaoke session sounds about right.  There’s no need to purposely lookup for lyrics on Google, so you can sing your hearts out with your updated app.

Sadly, if you’re using YouTube Music on the web, you won’t get the lyrics feature, so make sure to download the app on your phone. To see the lyrics, just click on a song and hit the ‘I’ button. The lyrics will automatically show up under the artist’s name.

However, there are some songs that don’t have lyrics yet. For example, popular songs like Physical by Dua Lipa, Yummy by Justin Bieber and I.F.L.Y by Bazzi all don’t have lyrics available yet — so take your chances.
