YouTube has ad-supported movies that users can watch for free

YouTube started to offer ad-supported movies to its users for free, and this includes movies like “The Terminator” and “Rocky” films.

Currently, there are around 100 movies available to be watched for free, though it is expected that YouTube will increase the number of movies in time. The movies are not recently released or relatively new movies as most of them are classics or Hollywood blockbusters. Previously, YouTube has allowed its users to buy TV shows and films, but with YouTube introducing free movie-watching with the inclusion of ads, it’ll serve as a great opportunity for advertisers to showcase their ads in return.

Other services such as Tubi and Vudu has already offered a similar feature some time ago but seeing as YouTube is a very prominent website with huge traffic, the new feature will be benefit its users greatly and also bring in more advertising deals.

Getting free movies with ads on YouTube is quite similar to watching movies on TVs where there are commercial breaks, but this YouTube feature that was quietly released is only available in US for now, so users from other countries will not get to enjoy the free movies that YouTube has to offer.
