Alongside the Xiaomi 11T series and the Redmi Buds 3 Pro, Xiaomi has launched its latest tablet in Malaysia, the Xiaomi Pad 5.
Xiaomi Pad 5 specs
The Xiaomi Pad 5’s 11-inch display pushes WQHD+ resolution and pushes 120Hz refresh rate — this is accompanied by uniform, narrow bezels and a flat-edged frame.
It also comes with Low Blue Light, True Display and Sunlight Display technologies; they contribute to better viewing experience for users no matter day or night.
Xiaomi Pad 5 also has quad speakers that support Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 860 chip paired with an Adreno 640 GPU.
It has a 8,720mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging, and you’ll get the charger together in the box when you purchase the Xiaomi Pad 5.
For productivity, the Xiaomi Pad 5 has an 8MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera to scan and share documents.
Xiaomi Smart Pen
Users can also use the Xiaomi Smart Pen with this tablet; it weighs at 12.2g and offers up to 8 hours of usage.
If the battery runs out, users can get 20 minutes of usage by charging the Smart Pen for 60 seconds; a full charge will only require 18 minutes.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 is available in two colours — Cosmic Gray and Pearl White.
It comes with 6GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage.
The lower-end variant is priced at RM1,399 while the higher-end variant is priced at RM1,599.
However, you can get the Xiaomi Pad 5 (6GB+128GB) for RM1,299 if you pre-order it on Lazada on September 24 – this is a one-day only promotion.
