If it’s one thing people were looking forward to seeing during Xiaomi’s ecosystem product launch yesterday, it’d be their Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34”– a value display that packs premium features like high-refresh rates and 1440p resolution.
High resolution and refresh rates
The monitor measures at 34-inches and boasts a WQHD (3440×1440) resolution and a 121% sRGB rated colour output. The frame of the monitor measures at 810.39mm in width, 520.61mm in height including the stand, and 242.52mm in depth. The stand lets you adjust the monitor’s height, tilt, and rotation.
Low latency
For gamers, it offers a low 4ms response time and supports AMD FreeSync to eliminate screen tearing. The top and side bezels are very thin to maximize screen real-estate. It boasts a brightness of 300 nits so it’ll do fine in any room. It has a 1500R curve rating that allows for a more immersive gaming experience, especially with FPS games.
I/O Ports
When it comes to aesthetics, the monitor sports an all-black look with a polyurethane matte coating for that premium, minimalist look. For I/O ports, it comes the monitor comes with 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, 2x DP 1.4 ports, one Audio port, and one for the power cable. Also good to note is that Xiaomi ships the monitor with a DP cable already, so there’s no need to shop for one if this is the first high-refresh rate monitor you own.
