The global debut of the Xiaomi 13 series is finally happening this month, as Xiaomi has sent out media invites and the launch will be livestreamed on Xiaomi’s official website and social media channels on 26 February, 11PM GMT+8.
As a recap, the Xiaomi 13 series comprise of the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, these are Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powered phones and have IP68 water and dust resistance, and cameras co-engineered with Leica.
Like the vivo X90 Pro that was recently launched, the Xiaomi 13 Pro’s main camera is a 50.3MP Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor, which was brought forward from last year’s Xiaomi 12S Ultra, it is complemented by a 50MP 3.2x telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide lens.
In other specifications, the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro differs in their display and battery, it is 6.36-inches 120Hz OLED for the Xiaomi 13 and 6.73 inches 120Hz LTPO OLED for the Xiaomi 13 Pro, 4500mAh battery with 67W charging for the Xiaomi 13 and 4820mAh battery with 120W charging for the Xiaomi 13 Pro, both phones support 50W fast wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
