Whatsapp to soon introduce message reactions

Last week, it was reported that Whatsapp’s new desktop app that supports the Multi-Device feature has launched and is available to download on the Microsoft Store. This week, the meta-owned instant messaging app is reportedly working on message reactions.

Yes, you read that right, you can finally react to your friend’s messages without having to “seen” them.

Just like Messenger and Instagram DM, it’s possible to react with any emoji of your liking and everyone in the conversation will be able to see what you reacted with as well.

There will also be an option in the settings to turn on/off “Reaction Notifications” for both private and group chats.

This long-awaited feature is still under development but we will be sure to update you when this it’s available on Android and iOS.
