U Mobile has introduced their latest Ultra Unlimited Home Fibre Broadband service, which is an offering done in collaboration with Allo Technology, a subsidiary of our national electricity company Tenaga Nasional.
There are three bandwidth options to choose from – 100 Mbps (RM129/month), 500 Mbps (RM199/month), and 1Gbps (RM299/month). However, if you subscribe to the GX68 mobile plan or higher at the same time, you’re entitled to receive 50% off your fibre broadband bill for the first two years!
Also a plus point is that U Mobile claims that this new offering gets you symmetrical connection speeds, which means your download and upload speeds are exactly the same as what you’ve signed up for. This is great if you are working from home and upload large files very frequently.
Unfortunately, the service is only available at Allo coverage areas which are in Melaka, Perak, Cyberjaya, Kedah, and Pulau Pinang. You can check if your area is covered via U Mobile’s website, or Allo’s website.
