In conjunction with Malaysia’s Independence Day celebration and the government’s Pakej 5G RAHMAH initiative, U Mobile has announced that it is upgrading its U Postpaid 68 plan with double of the initial data quota to 200GB, and best of all, the allocated quota can be used for international data roaming in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
The upgraded U Postpaid 68 plan can be signed up by both new and existing customers on 1st September 2023, while customers already on the U Postpaid 68 plan will automatically be upgraded. On top of that, customers can sign up for two U FamilyShare lines under the plan for RM38/month per line.
As part of the Pakej 5G RAHMAH initiative, all Malaysians regardless of income group can bundle the upgraded U Postpaid 68 plan with a new 5G device for RM240 and a 24-month contract, which they can opt for either the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G or Honor 90 Lite 5G. If you are among the first 100,000 B40 income individual to sign up for the initiative, you can enjoy these phones at a much lower price of RM120.
Malaysian Civil Servants can also benefit from signing up to the U Postpaid 68 plan, as the Insentif Pascabayar RAHMAH Penjawat Awam program will allow them to enjoy a monthly RM10 rebate, even if they are existing U Mobile customers, but do note that the rebate is only valid for 12 months.
