U Mobile has upgraded the U Postpaid 38 postpaid plan with 60GB of data quota and unlimited calls to all networks, which effectively makes this the best valued 5G-enabled postpaid plan in the market.
The plan originally comes with 30GB of data with a separate hotspot quota of 5GB, and what makes it even more exciting is that U Mobile has removed the separate hotspot quota with the Ultra Hotspot 5G promotion, which users can tether their 4G/5G connection to other devices using their subscribed data quota.
The Ultra Hotspot 5G promotion is also extended to U Postpaid 68 and 98 new subscribers, U Mobile says that the enhancement will be available to existing subscribers soon, so don’t be surprised if you haven’t seen that separate hotspot quota missing from the MYUMobile App.
Despite being a limited time ‘promotion’, U Mobile has mentioned it its T&C that the Ultra Hotspot 5G will last till the time you decided to terminate the service or change to a different plan, there’s no FUP mentioned on either the FAQ or T&C page but do note that your data will be managed once it has been exhausted.
