ZTE makes its way to the headlines again with another variant of the Nubia Z11. This time, its the “S” variant of the Nubia Z11 Mini and this compact package isn’t something to be laughed at as the handset packs some serious mid range specs. The Nubia Z11 Mini S was launched earlier today in China after the company celebrated its fourth year anniversary.
Surprisingly, the ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini S isn’t as mini as we thought it would be. In fact, the handset sports a larger 2.5D glass display than the Samsung Galaxy S7 at 5.2-inches. The resolution is of 1080p Full HD and the screen has Gorilla Glass protection. The internals of the Nubia Z11 Mini S include a Snapdragon 625 processor alongside 4GB of RAM. The phone will be offered in 64GB and 128GB memory options, and can be further expanded via its hybrid SIM/micro SD slot.
The camera department is where the Nubia Z11 Mini S starts to show its true colors. The rear camera is of a whopping 23MP with PDAF and an f/2.0 aperture. The selfie camera on the other hand isn’t a letdown as well, standing in at 13MP, with PDAF and an aperture of f/2.2. The handset is powered by a 3,000mAh battery, which sounds like enough for what it packs. It doesn’t skimp on the rest of the specs and features as well, sporting a rear fingerprint sensor, NFC, USB Type-C port, VoLTE support and Bluetooth 4.1.
The ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini S will be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The phone is currently available for pre-order before going on sale on October 25 in China. The 64GB model comes with a price tag of 1,499 CNY (RM937.89) while the 128GB model will cost 1,899 CNY (RM1,188.16). Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
