OPPO recently unveiled the R17 Pro that has not been officially launched yet but the smartphone has some great features that were already revealed.
The R17 Pro has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and uses the Corning 6th Gorilla Glass, which is twice better than the 5th Gorilla Glass’s performance. It has a water drop notch that houses the front camera and the smartphone supports dual Nano-SIM cards. The fingerprint sensor is also missing on the gradient-coloured back because it’s being replaced by the Hidden Fingerprint Unlock feature that allows users to unlock their smartphones by tapping on the screen.
The smartphone is also the first OPPO smartphone with triple camera on its rear, whereby the camera setup consists of a 12MP lens, a 20MP lens and a TOF lens that functions as a 3D depth sensor. The highlight of the R17 Pro’s camera is that is has an Ultra Night Mode and also smart aperture that varies from f/1.5 to f/2.4 which takes beautiful lowlight photos with less noise and more details. On the front, the notch holds the 25MP front camera that also has Portrait Mode and supports AI Custom Beauty.
Aside from that, the smartphone also comes with the Snapdragon 710 processor and is equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It has a dual battery that adds up to 3700mAh and supports SuperVOOC Flash Charge which can charge the R17 Pro from 0% to 40% in merely 10 minutes, which is better than the VOOC Flash Charge that charges smartphones from 0% to 75% in half an hour.
The R17 Pro will be launched on 22 November, so keep an eye out on that day to find out the official price of the smartphone in Malaysia.
