If you remember back at MWC 2019, the trypophobia of many were triggered when the Nokia 9 PureView was introduced along with its five lenses at the back. It is, at the moment, the only phone with that many cameras; but reports suggest that Sony may overthrow Nokia to take the throne.
GSM Arena reports that Sony are working on an upcoming Xperia that will sport six lenses, and renders suggest that they will be arranged in an orderly vertical fashion. With that many lenses, we can expect there to be ToF sensors, a macro lens, wide-angle and telephoto to be included.
The report also suggests that there will be two selfie cameras on the upcoming Xperia, but details are scarce. We can expect the phone to be announced sometime end of this year or by Q1 2020, says GSM Arena.
