MSI’s flagship creator laptops continue to get better as they are now refreshed with 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake-H processors, however what will really hype up creators this time is the MSI Creator 17, the company’s first laptop to come equipped with a 17-inch 4K Mini LED panel.
Having a Mini LED panel on a laptop is a great advantage for creators working on the go as it delivers extremely accurate colours. The MSI Creator 17’s Mini LED panel meets the DisplayHDR 1000 standards and sports a 1000-nits brightness, it is the brightest panel fitted on a laptop. In comparison, the 16-inch MacBook Pro maxes out at 500-nits.
In terms of specs, the MSI Creator 17 comes with up to an Intel Core i7-10875H processor, GeForce RTX 2080 Super with Max-Q design graphics and PCIe NVMe SSD storage. Other hardware features include a UHS III SD card reader with up to 624MB/s of transfer speeds, a USB-C port that supports up to 8K resolution output and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity.
MSI Malaysia has confirmed that it will be launching the Creator 17 alongside with the Intel Comet Lake-H refreshed Creator 15M and Creator 17M laptops, however no pricing has been revealed at this point of time, but we reckon that the Creator 17 won’t come cheap.
