The Motorola Razr’s display peels at fold after a week

The Motorola Razr foldable phone is recently under fire for its display that apparently peeled apart after w week of usage.

In an article published on Input by author Raymond Wong, the device suddenly had an air bubble at the hinge area that not only looked unpleasant but also led to functionality issues. Wong said that the separation of the top lamination part and the display panel is not caused by impact; he suspected it’s caused by a change in temperature.

In two days, Wong has brought the phone outside and back home — he said the weather outside was cold while his apartment is warm. This led him to the speculation that the adhesive is somehow loosened in the midst of the temperature change, causing it to peel apart and become unresponsive.

Wong has reached out to Motorola for an explanation, but the company has yet to respond. Our advice? Stay away from foldable phones for now.
