The Galaxy Note 6 rumored to have an early launch

With the hype from the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge still ongoing, rumors have surfaced that the next anticipated Samsung flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 6 will be released rather early this year. According to Korean site The Bell, the upcoming flagship handset, codenamed “Grace”, will be launched in July, which is roughly four months away from now.

The Galaxy Note 5 was launched earlier than expected last year in August, less than a year after the Galaxy Note 4 in September 2014. Hence, it seems possible that Samsung will pull off this move on the consumer market this year. The site has also mentioned that the Galaxy Note 6 could be running on Android N out of the box. That is also possible since Google has already released a developer preview of the new Android version this month.

Bear in mind to always take rumors with a huge grain of salt. The Galaxy Note 6 is rumored to have 6GB of RAM running under the hood, like what we’ve seen with Vivo’s Xplay 5 not too long ago. The Note 6 is also said to have a 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED display and the same 12MP rear facing camera packed with the S7 and S7 Edge. If the rumored early launch is true, we might be looking at more premature rumors in the coming weeks and months. What do you think?
