If you are sick of Chinese smartphones, Vietnam’s BPhone is the next smartphone you should be looking out, it comes with a premium aluminum unibody that reminds us of the Xiaomi Mi 4 and with that, don’t expect to come cheap as the phone starts from RM1800 up to RM3700 depending on storage models and they come in different premium colors as well.

BKav Corporation, the manufacturer of the BPhone has packed the phone with some decent hardware internals despite not being the latest and fastest, the phone sports a Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz processor mated to 3GB RAM, it has up to 128GB of non-expandable memory, a 5-inch 1080p Sharp manufactured display, a 13-megapixel main camera from Omnivision that takes 4K videos and slow motion videos of up to 120fps at 720p resolution, a 5-megapixel front camera, 3000mAh battery with QuickCharge technology, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Other features of the phone includes high fidelity audio playback at 24KHz/192bit and the company’s proprietary TransferJet wireless data transmission technology with transfer speeds up to 200Mbps.

While the phone’s price point and hardware internals isn’t attractive, the phone’s design and hardware internals proves the company’s ability to manufacture a good and unique looking smartphone, it will certainly take a while for people to start appreciating the product, but we believe this is certainly a good start for the Vietnamnese firm.
