The Sony Xperia 1 is finally coming to Malaysia and the phone comes with impressive specs — especially its display.
The Sony Xperia 1 has a 6.5-inch 4K OLED display that offers higher contrast, colour accuracy and clarity due to its top-notch screen. It comes with HDR remastering technologies and a cinematic aspect ratio to offer a more immersive viewing experience. In addition, Sony also integrated Dolby Atmos technology into the device so that watching videos on the phone is not only visually satisfying but also aurally impressive.
The Xperia 1 is not only a flagship when it comes to its display because under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset. It has 6GB RAM paired with 128GB storage and will be shipped with Android 9. Moreover, the phone will sport a 3,330mAh battery that supports Xperia Adaptive Charging and can charge up to 50% in half an hour.
The Sony Xperia 1 is available in three colours: Black, Purple and Grey. It will be available from early October 2019 and can be purchased at Sony Stores KLCC and Curve, Sony Store Online and Sony Centres. However, you can also start pre-ordering the phone from August 24 to October 6 where you’ll get a free WH-1000XM3 wireless noise-cancelling headphones. The Xperia 1 priced at RM4,299 will also make an appearance on August 30 onwards in Sony Expo 2019 at Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur so if you’re excited to see it in person, you can do so next week.
