Everyone of us have been complaining about Samsung making plastic smartphones, now it seems that sources have confirmed that the Korean smartphone maker is ready to debut its first ever all metal smartphone after so many years. According to SamMobile, a very reliable source about Samsung smartphone releases, the GALAXY Alpha will not be positioned as a premium device like its GALAXY S5 but rather a mid-range device with some flagship hardware onboard.

SamMobile is very sure that the device will be launched on August 4th and suggests that the company will want to make this device go live before the debut of its GALAXY Note 4 flagship in September. The GALAXY Alpha is reported to have a 4.8-inch 720p display, 32GB Internal storage with no expansion options and a fingerprint scanner found on the GALAXY S5.

We aren’t excited with this announcement, considering the fact that Samsung is really late to the all metal phone game, but here’s something to think for the day, could the all metal GALAXY Alpha somehow lead to some hints on the GALAXY Note 4’s design language? We can’t wait to find out and its just another month away.
