Samsung Gear 2 and Gear Fit Unboxing & First Look

2014 is a year of wearables and smartwatches, these devices are the next big internet of things to change our lives.

The GALAXY Gear from Samsung created quite a buzz last year, though it has terrible performance and battery life, it sets a new standard on how and what smartwatches should be. Now, its time to unbox two latest smartwatches from Samsung which was launched together with the GALAXY S5 – the Gear 2 and Gear Fit. The Gear 2 is the successor to the original GALAXY Gear, which has almost the same form factor with improved hardware while running on the TIZEN platform. The Gear Fit is a smartwatch disguised as a sports band focusing on fitness, it has a 1.84″ curved Super AMOLED Display and has a built in Gyro, Accelerometer and Heart Rate sensor. The Gear 2 and Gear Fit can only work with Samsung GALAXY devices running Android 4.3 and above, before we find out how it really works and help in our daily lives.
