Samsung Galaxy S21 actual design spotted online

This new leak pretty much re-affirms what we know about the Samsung Galaxy S21’s design – instead of renders, this time we actually have physical devices – which are likely demo units – showcasing the back and camera module design of the flagship series.

The leaks come courtesy of YouTuber Sakitech; his video confirms the almost-wrap-around camera housing that’s placed on the top left of the back panel. The lenses don’t look too out of place, but it’s interesting that there is minimal bulging here.

With that said, the Galaxy S21s look too be quite thick – perhaps that’s how they keep the lenses flush with its housing. Speaking of, it looks like the both the camera module and the phone chassis will sport different finishes – the camera module being glossy, while the phone is matte and possibly frosted.

Samsung’s upcoming premium series is touted to arrive as soon as January 2021, and will likely pack the new Exynos 1080 chipset which. There’s not much else that we know for sure about the phones, but the placeholder specs include up to a 108MP camera setup, a WQHD 120Hz display, and support for the S Pen.

With possibly no Galaxy Note series next year, the Galaxy S21 will hold the fort in Samsung’s flagship segment until the new Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Flip smartphones arrive later in the year.
