As we welcome 2020, there will be lots to look forwards to – one of which is the mass 5G roll out. But besides that, we can also look forward to the annual releases of flagship devices. Despite that being a few months away, serial leakster Max Weinbach have given us a bit of insight into what the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 will be like.

Max had found data logs suggesting that the Exynos 9830 to be real – and that mean’s the Samsung Galaxy S11 will be the first device to use the flagship processor. For countries that get a Snapdragon with the Galaxy device, they can look forward to seeing the Snapdragon 865 too.

In a separate post by Max, he also shows lines of code suggesting that the Galaxy S11 will feature 3D Face Unlock, which is not new, but it helps paint a better picture of the device. Adding to that are more data logs that hint at a notch or punch hole display, as well as support for 5G connectivity.

Being a 2020 device, a flagship should have a 5G variant, and it looks like the Galaxy S11 is no different. With the information we have now, we get a glimpse of what’s to come from Samsung, so we’re excited to welcome the new year and have these devices in our hands.
