Samsung Galaxy Note 7 may only come with an Edge Display option

The rumours surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is coming fast and hard now as the device approaches its alleged August 2nd launch date. Chief among the leaks is the fact that the Galaxy Note 7 be an Edge display device.

According to The Korean Herald, it appears that a local daily has reported that Samsung is not considering launching a flat screen version of the Note phone. Photos of the Note 7 that were leaked recently indicates that the phone will have a screen that is similar to the Galaxy S7 Edge, instead of the one-sided curved screen that was present on the original Galaxy Note Edge.

Specifications of the Galaxy Note 7 has also been leaked. Based on reports from GSMHelpdesk, the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to sport a 5.8″ QHD dual-edge Super AMOLED display, a faster Exynos 8 SoC variant, 6GB of RAM, an improved 12MP camera with dual-pixel phase detection autofocus, and a 4,000 mAh battery. The phone is expected to retail for EUR 799 (RM 3,645).
