If you’re looking for a budget smartphone, realme’s new C15 smartphone looks promising with a wallet-friendly price tag of just RM599!
The phone comes with a sizeable 6.5-inch HD+ display that features a drop-notch selfie module on the top of the screen. On the back, you get a pretty nice anti-fingerprint finish that boasts three colour tones – each separated by diagonal lines. There are two flavours available – Seagull Silver, and Marine Blue.
Moving on to the camera department, you get a 13MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP B&W lens, and a 2MP Retro lens – the latter two essentially lets you snap photos will cool filters on top. For selfies, you get an 8MP shooter as well, equipped with AI beautification, portrait mode, HDR, and selfie filters.
Under the hood, the Malaysian models will receive a Snapdragon 460 chipset, up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
One of the biggest draws of the phone is it’s massive 6,000mAh battery which is capable of reverse charging using an OTG cable. Realme claims that you get up to 10.2 hours of gaming time, and 28 hours of video streaming on YouTube. The realme C15 also supports 18W of fast charging via USB Type-C; it charges the phone up to 28% in just 30 minutes.
The phone is priced at RM599 for the 4GB + 64GB model and will be available this 25 November on Shopee, or on 28 November through realme’s authorised retail partners.
