realme Buds Air 2 to launch with ANC and fast charging

The realme Buds Air 2 is finally coming to Malaysia and this time, realme collaborated with The Chainsmokers to develop these earbuds.

realme Buds Air 2 will have better bass than before

According to realme, the Buds Air 2 uses diamond-like carbon diaphragm in its 10mm Hi-Fi Bass Boost driver and what realme calls a “bass enhancement solution”that offers better audio quality.

Realme also promises a reduced latency to 88ms when users turn on the Gaming Mode — this is thanks to Bluetooth 5.2 and Dual-channel Transmission. However, this requires users to download the realme Link app that also offers other controls like EQ settings, customisation for buttons and more.

ANC + ENC for enhanced audio and call experience

The realme Buds Air 2 comes with ANC up to 25dB and also has a dual-mic Environment Noise Cancellation for clearer calls. Equipped with the new R2 energy-efficient chip, the battery life can last up to 5 hours in a single charge and up to 25 hours when paired with the charging case. It even supports fast charging — users will get 120 minutes of music playback with just 10 minutes of charge.

The realme Buds Air 2 will be launching soon in March, but the exact date and availability hasn’t been revealed. For reference, the previous realme Buds Air is currently priced at RM299.
