Its been a while since we heard anything about the successor to the Razer Phone, many other gaming phones came and went but still none of them spotted a 120hz display. However, it seems that they are still on track to produce a successor to the phone which will come by the end of 2018.
During an annual gaming trade show that was held in Shanghai, Razer Global VP Chen Xiaoping said that the new Razer Phone might launch in China by the end of the year. He goes on to add that the upcoming Razer Phone will come with the latest Qualcomm processor which will probably be the Snapdragon 845 processor. There could be a chance that the phone will come with the Snapdragon 855 processor as well, as Qualcomm will release their new flagship processor by the end of the year.
Processor aside, the more interesting aspect of the phone is the new features that it will come as Razer is probably observing the other gaming phones that have released in the past year, with the ROG Phone taking the lead. Let’s hope that Razer has been keeping their eye on Asus and produces a gaming phone that will knock the ROG Phone off its pedestal.
