Xiaomi has just launched the POCO M3 Pro 5G which is slight upgrade over the impressive POCO M3 that we reviewed earlier this year.
The phone comes with a 6.5-inch IPS panel that now offers a 90Hz refresh rate. Like the regular POCO M3, this too comes with a FHD+ panel layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Design-wise, the phone now has a large painted corner of the phone where the camera is. Here too sits the POCO logo front and center. Also, unlike the regular M3, the back panel finish is now glossy, and mirror-like. The phone comes in POCO Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue.
For imaging, no changes have been made – you still get a 48MP main shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, you get an 8MP lens.
Under the hood, you’ll find a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset powering the device, along with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The POCO M3 Pro comes with a large 5,000mAh battery and the phone supports 18W of fast charging as well.
The phone is priced at RM699 for the 4GB+64GB mode, while the 6GB+128GB version will cost RM799. The interesting thing is, the Redmi Note 10 5G, which was launched two weeks ago, also costs RM799, but offers 8GB of RAM.
But to sway you over, POCO is offering a RM100 discount on both POCO M3 5G variants from June 6, midnight until June 7, 11.59pm. Visit the brand’s Shopee page here to make your purchase.
